Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy of Connecticut is proud and thrilled to share that three upper school students—Asher, Gabriel and Tamar—were recently recognized for their outstanding volunteerism at the Chabad of Stamford Annual Gala Dinner.
This marks a historic moment, as it is the first time in the history of this prestigious event that a group of teens has been honored for their contributions to the community.
“Chesed is a cornerstone of our culture here at BCHA,” said David Giver, BCHA upper school principal, “and Asher, Gabriel and Tamar exemplify this aspect of our culture and we are all so proud of this being recognized by our larger community.”
These exceptional students lead with kindness, dedication and a true commitment to making a difference. Whether in the classroom or out in the world, they exemplify what it means to serve with heart and purpose.
The BCHA family hopes the community will join in celebrating Asher, Gabriel and Tamar for this well-deserved recognition. BCHA is so proud of the impact they continue to make in their school and their community, and of the ways in which they help to serve those most in need through their mitzvot.
