Eighth-grade boys at RPRY had the exciting opportunity to participate in the school’s annual “Hagbah Training.”  After a review of relevant הלכות and a demonstration of the proper procedure by Rabbi Feit and Rabbi Lipschitz, students began to try it themselves. With the correct technique and some practice, students learned how to properly perform this beautiful custom with confidence. Following the training, students will receive “Hagbah Certification” and will be ready to use this new skill as they become full-fledged members of their minyanim and shuls for many years to come.
