Yavneh Academy celebrated Shavua Ivrit, Hebrew Week, and focused on learning and developing the Hebrew language. During the lessons, students explored the life and work of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, the reviver of the Hebrew language, and learned about his immense contribution to restoring Hebrew as a spoken language. Inspired by his efforts, a personal dictionary was created in classes with new words that the students invented, much like how Ben-Yehuda coined and integrated new words into the evolving language. Additionally, students enjoyed a festive celebration at the end of the week, where they honored the Hebrew language through games, songs, and creative activities.
