BPY early childhood students had a wonderful time experiencing Thanksgiving by preparing traditional foods, participating in “pow wows” with early childhood director, Morah Jessica, and having feasts. The students sang traditional songs in English and Hebrew, ate some delicious traditional Thanksgiving dishes and went on an “authentic” Native American bear hunt with Morah Jessica. Rabbi Zucker, head of school, helped celebrate with the school’s youngest students as well. Students took the time to show hakarat hatov to some of the hard-working staff members who help maintain BPY’s facilities and protect it.
