Elie Sonnenblick, son of Betsy and Marty Sonnenblick of Fair Lawn and Samara Kandelshein, daughter of Reesa and Ephriam Kandelshein of Montreal, Canada were married on November 26 at the Chevra Kadisha Synagogue in Montreal. Rabbi Ely Shestack, Rabbi of Ahavat Achim in Fair Lawn was the Mesader Kedushin.

Elie is a graduate of the Yeshiva University Sy Syms School of Business and is employed by B&H Photo. Samara is a graduate of Stern College for Women and the NYU School of Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse at the NYU Langone Medical Center.

It was love at first bite for Elie and Samara. They met at a Shabbat meal where the host facilitated the match. The couple is living in Washington Heights.
