The children practiced putting candles into their chanukiah and saying the brachot. They also learned that some people use oil instead of candles. After visiting the Olive Oil Factory and making their very own olive oil, they decided to experiment with oil in the classroom too. They used droppers to drop oil onto green paper. Using their pincer grasp like that is good fine motor practice. Some children made little dots, some children made big splotches and some covered a lot of the paper with oil.
