On the third night of Chanukah, over 70 students stayed after school for the annual Chanukah Shteig, a program run by the Jewish Life Committee. Students enjoyed shiurim given by faculty and students, and pizza and doughnuts. They played educational Torah themed games including a Chanukah-themed escape the room, Torah Taboo and Chanukah Jeopardy. The Torah-filled night was concluded remarks by Isaac Bernstein, this year’s YU fellow. The ruach continued the next day as RKYHS students enthusiastically participated in a pre-Shabbat, Chanukah-focused tish— complete with latkes and other treats.
