On Friday, December 15, Tenafly Chabad Academy’s middle school students had the special opportunity to visit with the residents of the Jewish Home at Rockleigh. TCA students came to share the celebration of Chanukah with the residents, and, under the guidance of TCA’s talented Morah Estyn Becker, they all worked on a beautiful Chanukah craft together. The joy and light of Chanukah could be felt all around the room as the residents and students talked, laughed and sang Chanukah songs together. What a proud moment to see the students bringing such warmth and positive energy to the residents! The TCA middle schoolers were so touched by the experience and really enjoyed their time there. The school hopes that this is the first of what will become an annual visit!
