Since Tu B’Shevat provides us with the opportunity to remember the blessings Hashem bestows upon us, JKHA Lower School students focused on the concept of brachot on food with Principal Rabbi Srolovitz. Every class had one bracha bee winner chosen. All of these class winners competed on Tu B’Shevat in a division-wide bracha bee in the Epstein Stein auditorium. It was extra challenging as they had to answer the correct bracha achrona for the selected food. It was so exciting as students cheered on their classmates.
All of the students joined in on the competition with a division-wide Kahoot game where they tested their knowledge of the brachot simultaneously. Winners of the finalists round and school kahoot game will receive a bracha themed prize for their class after winter break.
