Ma’ayanot celebrated Chanukah with a week full of festive activities, including a spirited “winter wonderland” chagiga with music by Benny Friedman and Sheer Simcha, a competitive game of “Escape the Greeks,” faculty vs. student Olympics, a screening of the documentary “Supergirl” featuring Ma’ayanot junior and power-lifting champion Naomi Kutin, latke and sufganiyot breakfasts, senior chesed trips to the Alzheimer Center at JCC on the Palisades, The Community Food Bank of NJ and Yad Leah, and much more.
