Tiferet of Teaneck students took a trip to their rabbi’s kitchen for a lesson in esrog jam-making.  Rabbi Yale Butler, esteemed educator and former professional chef, taught the girls kitchen basics while turning the esrog slices they prepped together after Sukkot into tasty jam to enjoy for Tu B’Shevat.  Back in the classroom, the students created personalized labels for their jam containers.
