The next TORA lunch and learn events will be a series of two lectures to be given by Rabbi Zev Goldberg, rabbi of Young Israel of Fort Lee. The topic will be “Eternal Impact, Six Defining Moments in Jewish History.”

The first lecture will be held on Monday, January 15, at Congregation Beth Abraham, located at 396 New Bridge Road, Bergenfield. The second lecture will be held on Monday, February 5, at Young Israel of Fort Lee, located at 1610 Parker Avenue, Fort Lee.

At each event, lunch will be available at 12 p.m. and the lecture will begin at 12:45 p.m. The cost for the January 15 event is $12 for those who make a reservation by 1/11, and $15 at the door. The February 5 event will be complimentary for those who make a reservation by February 1.

Note that January 15 is Martin Luther King Day, so non-retirees who have the day off are encouraged and welcome to attend.
