What better way to learn about orchestra instruments than by attending a concert by the New York Philharmonic? Ramaz sixth graders took a trip to Lincoln Center for 2025’s installment of “Young People’s Concerts for Schools,” this year titled, “The Future Is Innovation.” In class, the students have been studying the different instruments and families of instruments in a classical orchestra. The Philharmonic’s special concert gave a practical demonstration of these lessons, placing an emphasis on learning from past innovators to understand and appreciate the present.
