Mazal Tov to RYNJ’s first graders on receiving their very first Chumashim this past Sunday. The girls performance was first, followed by the boys. Dressed so elegantly, the yeladim sung a variety of beautiful songs about the beauty of Torah and the importance of learning our sacred texts. Their joy and sincerity was apparent as they proudly performed, moving the audience with their heartfelt words and adorable motions. Rabbi Price shared a special message about learning Torah with the children, and then each child was called up to receive their very own engraved Chumash. While waiting patiently for each friend to receive their Chumash, the rest of the grade sang that child a special mazal tov song. Families then gathered in the Big Room for a mazal tov reception. Thank you to the incredible second grade morahs for preparing the yeladim so well for this momentous occasion. Thank you to Morah Sorah Shaffren for coordinating the performance and leading the shows. Mazal tov to the families of 1G and 1B. May you have much nachas from your beautiful children and may they always feel excitement for learning Torah.
