Ariana Dalezman has been living her passion as an event planner for the past five years, specializing in weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, brissim, sheva brachot and corporate events. Dalezman’s journey into event planning was organic—people always came to her for advice when they were having a party, and she was more than happy to help. As the former director of operations and events at Congregation Ahavath Torah, she helped people who were hosting events there. Dalezman would take prospective clients for a tour and was soon giving them suggestions for using the space in the best way, and recommending creative ideas for their event. It was then that she decided event planning was her forte and she started her own business, “A Dazzled Event.” She already had an in-depth knowledge of venues and a strong network of vendors. Through word of mouth, she quickly became a trusted name in the event planning industry.

Her goal is to manage all the behind-the-scenes tasks so the couple and their families have a stress-free experience and can truly enjoy their own celebrations. That means everything from designing the look of the room with gorgeous centerpieces to making sure all of the logistical pieces are put together appropriately.

Event trends are constantly shifting, so Dalezman stays on top of what is popular. Color schemes for weddings are evolving. Last year, green was a favorite. This year purples, pastels and metallics are making a strong comeback. Event cuisine is pretty standard but desserts can get creative. While plated meals remain a wedding staple, some couples opt for interactive food stations that provide an artistic and memorable dining experience.
