RKYHS physics students had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Ed Berliner, director of science and clinical professor of physics at Yeshiva University. Dr. Berliner spoke on this year’s Nobel Prize winning topic of gravitational waves and black holes. Dr. Berliner trained in the lab of Nobel Prize winning physicist, Dr. Leon Lederman, former president of the AAAS. Dr. Berliner is an influential and highly respected leader in academic administration, instruction and scientific research support.
Prior to joining Yeshiva University, Dr. Berliner spent more than 20 year at Lucent/AT&T/Bell Laboratories. He enjoys sharing his background and knowledge in fiber optics, mobile/cellular communications, IP telephony and other areas with his students as well.
