On January 1, RYNJ 6B students had a special event to celebrate their first year learning Gemara. We enjoyed davening together, a delicious breakfast and then three different learning opportunities. First, Rabbi Price spoke about beginnings and then introduced Rabbi Zahtz, who spoke about the importance of our mesorah. Then, we broke up into classes, and learned with our parents or grandparents in chavrusa with our RYNJ rebbeim helping. We then played Quizlet Live all together—and even our parents played a round! There was so much excitement!
