(Courtesy of Hustle & Heart Sports) Get ready for an electrifying sports event that promises fierce competition and unforgettable moments. Hustle & Heart Sports will be hosting for the first time ever a Yeshiva Girls All-Star Game for the 7/8th grade basketball division.
Hustle & Heart Sports runs a basketball camp at the end of the summer for girls (they also have one for boys) that enables girls across the country to get better at basketball, compete against each other, and create friendships through basketball. This game builds on the camp’s mindset to bring girls together from different yeshivas across the region who play in different leagues and do not have the chance to play against each other during their regular seasons. These young athletes have worked tirelessly throughout the season, and this game is the perfect stage to highlight their skills, teamwork and dedication.
NY team roster includes: Reina Anteby (Flatbush, 8th), Shayna Buchbinder (Shulamith, 8th), Roslyn Danziger (MDY, 7th), Rina Fatiha (Flatbush, 8th), Shirel Hakimi (YHT, 7th), Ella Hametz (HALB, 8th), Nadine Kamali (NSHA, 8th), Molly Konig (Halb, 8th), Joelle Loloi (NSHA, 8th) and Lily Siri (Flatbush, 8th).
NJ team roster includes: Mia Berger (Moriah, 8th), Hodaya Ciner (Noam, 8th), Kira Furer (Noam, 8th), Lula Glezerman (Moriah, 8th), Orly Hoffer (Noam, 8th), Peri Lamm (RYNJ, 8th), Aliza Neiss (RYNJ, 8th), Nicole Pruzansky (He’Atid, 6th), Frieda Schacher (Hillel, 7th) Sophia Schwalbe (Moriah, 8th) and Kayla Stein (Yavneh, 7th).
Scheduled for March 9 at 7:15 p.m., the event will take place at Yeshivat He’Atid in Teaneck, NJ. Fans, families and community members are all invited to come out and support their local stars in what is sure to be an action-packed game.
This exciting match-up not only highlights the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork but also provides a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to demonstrate the values of hard work and perseverance that are instilled through their yeshiva education.
