Avinatan Or (Avinatan ben Ditza Tirza), 32, and his girlfriend, Noa Argamani, were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from the Nova music festival on Oct. 7, 2023. Noa has since been released and has become an outspoken advocate for the remaining hostages, while Avinatan remains in captivity.

Avinatan is a family man, a devoted uncle and a skilled cook. The Or family has seven siblings and meet often for Shabbat meals. Avinatan obtained a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Ben-Gurion University and was immediately accepted to work at Nvidia.

Avinatan’s brother, Moshe, said, “Nobody knows where the young men are. Nobody. We have no information. It’s as if they have disappeared. And that is the most terrifying part — there are no details, no updates, just silence.” He added, “Avinatan, if you can hear me, know that we are fighting for you. You will be released — it’s just a matter of time.”
