“The future of manufacturing is shifting beneath our feet and the future will be made by those who speak computer design,” says Jason Kipp, online teacher for Bonim B’Yachad who teaches the online 3D modeling techniques for applied 3D printing at Bruriah. This course is a hands-on modeling course to produce wearable prints highlighting the fundamentals of 3D printing technology.
Kipp’s background in architecture provides him with the fundamental tools for commercial 3D printing. During his coursework for his MA in design from Shenkar University in Tel Aviv, he produced a template for turning cities into jewelry. Through this educational development he was attracted to Bonim B’yachad’s offer to teach 3D design to young people who will produce a world yet unknown to us. Education is the key to new technologies and the girls in Bruriah’s innovative tech department are preparing for the first steps of the oncoming Industrial Revolution.
