The JEC Early Childhood celebrated Tu B’Shevat in an exciting way this year: We started the process of planting a JEC Preschool garden! Preschoolers will have their very own garden to tend, and then reap the fruit of their labor—Yum!

Of course, since it’s still winter and too cold, the children honored Tu B’Shevat by planting seeds inside. Preschoolers will care for them in the nurturing warmth of our school. We hope to transplant the seedlings into the ground sometime around Lag B’Omer. These plants, sponsored by the Gluck family, brought a special energy to this chag, לעילוי נשמת גולדה ברכה בת שלמה שבתי.
