It has not escaped anyone’s notice that annual Israeli real estate fairs that have gone on for 20-plus years have been targeted since 2023 by Hamas sympathizers as something illegal, even though these informational events about “everything you should know before purchasing Israeli real estate,” like apartments or homes available in places like German Colony, Arnona and Netanya have nothing to do with Hamas or Palestinian rights.

This “big lie” that Palestinian protesters have attached themselves to is that these undisputed locations in Israel are somehow illegal for Jews to visit or God-forbid, live. This is our homeland and the locations being discussed at these fairs aren’t even remotely controversial.

Many of us dream of visiting Israel and some of us also dream of having our home in Israel someday. The goal of this real estate expo is to help us make connections, learn about various projects and understand the complexities surrounding purchasing real estate in another country. We support the education that this expo provides wholeheartedly. Many of these expo presenters have themselves made aliyah from our readership areas, and we not only support them as advertisers but also as friends and colleagues.
