The children of the Leah Sokoloff Nursery School in Fair Lawn had fun learning about trees in honor of Tu B’Shvat. They planted lima beans in cotton balls and plastic bags and observed their growth each day. The morot traced the children’s shape onto large sheets of brown paper which they painted as a tree trunk. The children also collaborated to make a beautiful classroom tree. They enjoyed Tu B’Shvat fruits and yummy grape juice from Israel at their Tu B’Shvat Seder.
