Members of HaZamir: The International Jewish Teen Choirs from Ofakim and from Jerusalem, joined RKYHS students at school. HaZamir offers high schoolers in 36 chapters across the United States and Israel the opportunity to learn and sing Jewish choral music at the highest musical standard and on the world’s greatest stages. The RKYHS students welcomed their contemporaries in break out groups where they discussed life for each of them since 10/7 in the United States and in Israel.

All of RKYHS then gathered in the Epstein Stein Auditorium as the school was captivated by a performance from the choir. The HaZamir teens taught the song “Habaita” to the RKYHS students, and were then joined by the RKYHS choir as everyone in the room sang in unison, followed by a moving “Hatikvah.”
