The Senate voted overwhelmingly on Thursday, April 3 to reject Senator Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) two anti-Israel resolutions to block vital arms sales to the Jewish state. Sanders’ resolutions were defeated 15-82-1 and 15-83-1.

We are extremely disappointed that New Jersey Senator Andy Kim, who campaigned to the Jewish community as a supporter of Israel, chose to support this highly anti-Israel resolution.

We are thankful that the overwhelming majority of the Senate, including New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, chose to reject this resolution.
