Six Frisch Hockey Players Selected as All-State Athletes

The following Frisch hockey players were named All-State selections:

Maury Bauer, senior; Benjamin Feintuch, senior; Charlie Freilich, senior; Jake Fromen, junior; Noah Petak, junior; Joe Tropp, senior.

Maury Bauer finished with a team high 25 goals and 44 points, totaling 106 career points, while Benjy Feintuch had 11 goals and a team high 31 assists for 42 points this season and a career total of 102 points. Both Bauer and Feintuch achieved membership in the coveted State “100 point club” in only three seasons of New Jersey State varsity competition while playing at Frisch.

All-world junior defenseman Noah Petak finished with 35 points, despite missing considerable time due to injury. Senior defenseman Joe Tropp had seven goals and 25 points, finishing up with 58 total career points, while playing physical minutes with minimal rest. Junior Jake Fromen, power forward extraordinaire, enjoyed a breakout season with 17 goals and 17 assists, recording hat tricks in two playoff contests, including the championship game. Charlie Freilich, calm, dependable and steady as ever all season long, finished with a.923 save percentage (just about his career average), and made numerous spectacular saves for the Cougars during the playoffs.

Congratulations to all of them on this prestigious honor.
