Continuing their tradition of triumph, the mental mavens of both TABC College Bowl teams swept to victory in all their matches in the College Bowl meet on Tuesday, March 13. Hosted by TABC at Congregation Rinat Yisrael, the varsity and JV played matches against Frisch, RTMA and Ma’ayanot and were victorious in all of those contests.

These matches completed the regular season competitions and both teams finished with perfect 10 and 0 records, continuing their undefeated history again this year. They have now qualified to compete in the Citywide Inter-Yeshiva High School College Bowl League Finals against the other division winners which will take place in New York City near the end of April. Throughout the years, TABC has been a dominant presence in the citywide competition, and one or both of our teams has been the citywide champion in eight or nine of the last 10 years.

Long-time coach Manny Landau noted how happy and proud he was of his team members. Landau greatly enjoys the intellectual capacity and resourcefulness of his players, as well as their enthusiasm. TABC’s teams are noted throughout the New Jersey division for their sportsmanship, team spirit and good behavior which is a true reflection of the values instilled in them by TABC. GO BRAINSTORM GO!
