Bring Your Chametz to the Big Bread Burn

The Jewish Center of Teaneck is happy to announce the annual Amsel Big Bread Burn in loving memory of Elizabeth Sher. The BBB will take place on, Friday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Big Bread Burn will be in the shul parking lot on Cedar Lane, 70 Sterling Place. Ample parking is available on the streets surrounding the JCOT as its parking lot will be closed to accommodate this event.

As in the past, the Teaneck Fire Department will have fire trucks in the JCOT parking lot for a photo op for all the kids who come to burn their chometz. The Jewish Center of Teaneck, in partnership with Heichal HaTorah, along with many of the synagogues and other local Jewish organizations, will be giving out red fire chief hats and Streits Kosher for Passover lollipops to all attendees.

The Amsel Big Bread Burn in Loving Memory of Elizabeth Sher is being co-sponsored by Orh Saadyah, Rinat Yisrael, Netivot Shalom, Sha’arei Orah, Keter Torah, Beth Aaron and Young Israel of Teaneck.

Special reminder: Please place your chametz in paper bags before throwing them into the dumpsters. There will also be garbage cans available for plastic bags and other garbage.
