The JEC Bruriah High School Presents Annual Holocaust Museum

Under the direction of history teacher Joel Glazer, the junior class at Bruriah has, once again, researched, created and curated the annual Holocaust Museum.

New Jersey Assemblywoman Annette Quijano, Mayor J. Christian Bollwage and Barbara Wind, Holocaust council director at Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, toured the museum with Steven Karp, JEC’s executive director.

Eleventh grader Gilah Sheinfil participated as a docent and her 90 year old grandfather, Chaim Weiser, who is a survivor of Auschwitz, Kaufering, the Warsaw Ghetto, Dachau, the Death March and Dr. Mengele, was a guest on the tour. The tefillin that Weiser and his brother found at Dachau are showcased in the museum.

Weiser remarked that being together with his daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter for this occasion is his ultimate revenge against Hitler.
