Five students from the RKYHS Studio Art Class had the opportunity to see their work hanging at the Essex County Court House at the Hall of Records on Friday, March 23, in honor of the New Jersey Youth Art Month (YAM). The reception recognized the students for all of their hard work and effort. The RKYHS students were among art students from all over Essex County, selected to participate in the exhibit. They had an opportunity to meet Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr., the Essex County executive, Senator M. Teresa Ruiz and Patricia Sebold, freeholder. Each student received a gift of an art sketchbook, art supplies and a kosher lunch. It was wonderful for them to be able to see their efforts displayed and be recognized for their accomplishments.
