Close to 200 SAR High School students participated in a special pre-Pesach Mishmar Madness featuring five distinguished faculty members of Yeshiva University. Classes ranged from a historical study of Pesach among the Marranos (Dr. Ronnie Perelis) to an exploration of the role of Eliyahu at the Seder (Dr. Deena Rabinovitch). Additional classes focused on the tension between tradition and science of oat matzah (Rabbi Jeremy Weider), the four freedoms of the Seder (Prof. Smadar Rosensweig), and the paradox of questioning God on the night of faith (Rabbi Moshe Tzvi Weinberg).
