The seventh graders of TCA enhanced their learning and knowledge on the Industrial Revolution by researching an important invention from that time. Each student was assigned an invention to research and present to the class. In their presentation they had to include important facts about the background of the invention, and how the invention has evolved and impacted society today. In class, students practiced their research skills, and learned how to pick out important and relevant information. Each student then had to present their findings to the class with a visual aid such as a handmade poster, Animoto video, Prezi or Google Slideshow. The students enjoyed teaching and learning from each other.
