Over 600 people came out on Thursday evening, April 19, and helped make Yavneh Academy’s first annual Yom Ha’atzmaut program a huge success. The event featured many Israeli activities such as a Tzfat art colony, Tzahal thank you station, Israeli-themed tattoos and face paint, soccer, GaGa and Gadna military training. Families were also able to place their tefilot in the Kotel! The event concluded with an encore presentation of the seventh grade girls daglanut presentation. A great time was had by all. Thank you to Yavneh parents Renana Silverman and Michelle Frohlich for organizing this wonderful Yavneh celebration for Israel.
