Yavneh Academy’s celebration for Israel’s 70th birthday was truly one to remember! The day began with beautiful tefilla and Hallel followed by dancing, singing, daglanut and a very special parade in honor of Israel. Younger students “visited” and learned about many different Israeli cities and had a wonderful time at Machane Yehuda. Older students learned about Israeli leaders and wars in sessions taught by eighth grade students. Yom Ha’atzmaut 5778 was a meaningful and memorable experience for Yavneh’s children.
