This past week the Yeshiva High School Alumni Basketball Association held their annual dinner. Yasher koach to all of the honorees: Bobby Kaplan, long time coach of Frisch and TABC; Joel Rishty, z”l, long time coach of the Hillel Heat; Maury Rosenbaum (JEC 1968); Jack Rosenbaum (JEC 1971); Michael Berg (Ramaz 2010) and Ira Scharaga (BTA 1971). At this year’s dinner YABA highlighted the “Doctors Wing” of the YABA Hall of Fame—six doctors, all graduates of the class of 1972, who were stars in the league and have risen to the top of their medical professions.
