As part of RPRY’s STEM program, fifth grade boys and girls designed and built wind powered cars! Using the engineering design process, the students worked in teams to design, test and modify their models. Each group’s design varied, some had unique shapes, while some had larger sails. On Thursday, large fans were set up in the gym and the entire fifth grade raced their cars. RPRY’s STEM programming is generously funded by the Cypess Family Foundation.
