Students from Lubavitch on the Palisades preschool, and elementary and middle school students from Tenafly Chabad Academy, marched in a Lag B’Omer parade, celebrating Jewish pride and unity. There was an incredible sense of excitement and joy. Each class came dressed in a different color and held signs and posters they made about different mitzvot, including banners of achdut, chesed, tzedakah and Jewish pride. Mayor Peter Rustin of Tenafly and the Tenafly Police Department escorted the children and joined the parade. The parade was followed by a chagiga that included music and dancing.
