The Dor L’Dor group of Congregation Ahavath Torah, 240 Broad Avenue in Englewood, is sponsoring a Lunch and Learn on May 15, at 12 p.m., in advance of the Shavuot holiday. The talk will be given by Rabbi Mordy Kuessous, assistant rabbi of Ahavath Torah for the Benaroya Sephardic Center and director of the Moriah School Sephardic Cultural Program. His topic will be: “What Traditions Are Observed by Sephardim During the Shavuot Holiday?” As a special feature, the lunch menu will include many Sephardic foods.
