Join Lubavitch on the Palisades for Shavuot night learning in preparation for the receiving of the Torah. The topics will be “Jewish Responsibilities to the Nations” and “Medical Intervention for a Terrorist.”
• Over two million gentiles are starving in Malaysia. Are we responsible to feed them? Are we responsible to give them medical assistance? Are we responsible to give them shelter?
• A terrorist comes to shoot a Jew and you shoot and wound the terrorist first. Do you have a right to shoot him again to ensure he is dead? Do you have a responsibility to cure him and keep him in prison?
The learning program will be held on Saturday, May 19, from 10:30 p.m.-12 a.m. at Lubavitch on the Palisades, 11 Harold St., Tenafly, followed by the learning of the 613 mitzvot from 12 midnight-4 a.m. Cheese blintzes, coffee, tea and cheesecake will be served. Everyone is welcome. No fee to attend.
