The children planted two gardens this week—a vegetable garden and a flower garden. In the vegetable garden, the Sunflower class planted carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes. The Butterfly class planted flowers. Some of the children had a chance to make holes in the soil and the other ones had a chance to put the plants in the soil. They will need to water them and make sure that they get a lot of sunlight.
