This past week, K-Silver has been w…a…y…. out in space. Teachers used the technique of a “KWL,” as a springboard for learning about each planet and its characteristics. They then charted all the information and research.

After learning about each planet, each child has been writing two or three interesting facts about the newly learned planet. In their space journals.

Additionally, as they learned about each planet, children have been making an artistic version and adding it to their space mural in the classroom. They are so excited to blast into first grade!
