At TABC, Torah is in the name, and in everything they do. They are very proud that even once classes ended, Torah learning continued to permeate the halls, and even cell phones. Much of the Torah l’shma programming was student driven, which brings additional nachat.
Rabbi Raphi Mandelstam and a self-selected group of seniors have been joining together to learn for June zman. This voluntary chabura was initiated by the students, who began their learning for a week at school, and continued their studies at Bnai Yeshurun in Teaneck. The group gathered at 9:15 in the morning to learn the sixth perek of Masechet Brachot until noon. During their time together, they focused on the more relevant laws of brachot through a combination of chavruta style learning and a shiur by Rabbi Mandelstam.
Thanks to the initiative of Yishai Rosenberg ‘19 and Eitan Leitner ‘19, Rabbi Yoni Mandelstam has started a short daily halacha shiur over the summer. The shiur is bring sent via WhatsApp, so it can be enjoyed wherever one happens to be! Also on this WhatsApp group are Divrei Torah on the parsha by Rabbi Ben Krinsky and the haskafa kollel sessions and sources by Rabbi Chaim Jachter.
TABC is very proud of the multitude of talmid-rebbe learning opportunities which are going on since regular classes have finished.
