On Monday, June 11, hundreds of families, friends, faculty members and guests gathered to celebrate the class of 2018 at SAR High School’s eleventh annual graduation ceremony, which was held at The College of Mount St. Vincent’s in Riverdale. The graduates were addressed by Rabbi Tully Harcsztark, faculty representative Rabbi Josh Rosenfeld and class representatives Abby Finkelstein and Joe Block, as well as Sam Zakay, SAR HS alumni. Speakers noted how this grade of 128 students reflect individuality, creativity, intellectual curiosity, drive and determination. The program included a class video presentation and was directed by faculty advisors Rabbi Kenneth Birnbaum and Dorit Katzenelenbogen. The evening concluded with a beautiful outdoor dessert reception and the joy and celebration of all the participants. Special thanks to the evening’s parent co-chairs, Saradee Fortgang and Robyn Samuels.
Mazal Tov to all of graduates and their families! SAR looks forward to hearing all about your future challenges, growth and accomplishments.
