JEC Faculty Never Stops Learning

Within moments of the school emptying of students for the summer, the JEC Lower School teachers had a reflective and inspirational closing faculty lunch. Soon after, they went right back to work, taking on the role of once again being a student, in refining their teaching resources. Some of the teachers engaged in further enhancing their math methods, others invested in reviewing their Judaic curriculum, while the Early Childhood department was engaged in learning through interactive strategies. Then, as part of a larger goal to enrich the already strong culture and experience, many members of the JEC faculty joined with other professionals from fellow Greater MetroWest schools for a week long training on responsive classroom. School has been out for less than a week and the dedication and investment shown by the JEC teachers is impressive and reflective of the excellence that occurs day to day. Rabbi Uzi Beer, principal of the JEC Lower and Middle Schools noted with a smile on his face, “I am so proud of the JEC team for what they accomplished this year and for their desire to constantly learn, grow and impact every child.”
