Tenafly Chabad graduates have had the pleasure of studying a vast range of art for the past four years. Over this time, they’ve studied different time periods, styles and techniques. For their final project, their art teacher, Estyn becker, wanted to make something collaborative and study the works of Israeli artist Yaacov Agam. Agam is world renowned for making kinetic art—art where as the viewer moves and interacts with the piece, the art changes. The students worked collaboratively on three panels using Agam’s work as inspiration. When they glued these three panels together in pieces, they were able to see the three different pieces of art from three different angles. This legacy piece will beautify the halls of TCA for years to come!
