This summer, Malchus STEM camp is offering an amazing program for campers finishing grades five to seven, that will build off the success of the last two summers. In addition to exciting 3D printing, under the direction of Shneur Garb, coding and engineering challenges, we will have the privilege of working with Gabriel Neiman, who has earned national fame for his skill in robotics, and will lead the STEM group in building challenges. We are also fortunate to have a daily science lesson under the direction of Dov Frank. As in the past, the camp will utilize the amazing campus of Heichal Hatorah. Daily swimming and non-competitive sports like parachuting and Silver Bullet activities will keep the campers physically fit. The day begins with Torah and tefillah, with Rabbi Reuven Hoff, fifth grade teacher at YBH of Passaic. Registration is now closed for this summer, but will reopen in September for 2019.
After a successful first year, Camp Malchus for Girls is excited for another amazing summer, once again led by Adina Wiener and her crew of returning and new counselors! This three-week summer program is unlike any other day camp because it offers a unique blend of sports, arts and crafts, baking, learning groups and of course, swim. From July 30 to August 17, you will hear a constant buzz of energy exuding from Heichal Hatorah, where Malchus Girls hold court Mondays through Friday. Incredibly fun activities range from weekly challah baking to boot camp to a talent show, and exciting weekly trips, all intended to help every camper shine in her own way. Our exercise boot camp is led by Tiffany Lebowitz, who is excited to take her 10 years of fitness training experience to challenge the girls, all while having fun through fitness, reaping the benefits of increased self confidence and increased physical capabilities.
