Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ is partnering with the Somerset Patriots for a Jewish Community Night at the Ballpark event on Sunday, July 29, at the TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
The first pitch against the visiting Road Warriors is scheduled for 5:05 p.m., but attendees are invited to come at 4 p.m. for a pregame autograph session with the players. The first 1,5000 fans to arrive will receive a Somerset Patriots/Federation rally towel, and everyone will have an opportunity to run the bases after the game.
Federation will offer a kosher food concession stand for the event provided by Bistro70 under strict kosher supervision of the Star-K, a recognized supervisor by the Vaad of MetroWest.
“Baseball is the perfect opportunity for families with kids of all ages to enjoy a fun time together,” says Justin Sakofs, Federation’s director of empowerment for families with school age children. “We will provide materials to help parents make the most of this experience with their children.”
Tickets for Night at the Ballpark are $12 each, or $18 (includes a $10 voucher for kosher concessions) and are available at www.jfedgmw.org/baseball.
