Lenny Solomon, the founder of musical outreach and a key member of the band Shlock Rock, will lead an amazing and rockin’ Kabbalat Shabbat on the Shore on Friday, August 17, at 7 p.m., singing Beatles music on the boardwalk of Bradley Beach. There is no charge to attend and refreshments will be served.

Congregation Agudath Achim of Bradley Beach, who is sponsoring this event, is hoping to attract many individuals for the weekend who live outside of Monmouth County. Following Kabbalat Shabbat, a catered dinner will be held on Friday night and Solomon will lead singing during the meal. On Shabbat, August 18, a soldier from Friends of the Israel Defense Forces will be speaking during morning services in honor of Israel’s 70th anniversary, and a special kiddush will be held. An enriching and fun concert for all ages will be held on Saturday night at 9:15 p.m. with the greatest hits of Shlock Rock by Solomon.
