Bruriah Launches Culture Club

Bruriah High School will be re-launching its Culture Club this year, offering four different events for interested students. Led by Margueya Poupko, the Culture Club provides students an opportunity to explore the arts and experience sophisticated and celebrated entertainment outside of school. In November, students will visit The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in December they will see “To Kill a Mockingbird” on Broadway accompanied by a lecture on theatre by a professor at Touro. In February, students will see “Sleeping Beauty” at Lincoln Center and have one of the dancers conduct a talk back and a tour of the stage. The final event will be attending a symphony orchestra at Lincoln Center.

Each event will take place during the daytime on Sundays and will include discussion of the event to provide a more enriching experience. Faculty and parents who wish to join are welcome.
