The freshman class at RKYHS were excited to participate in orientation programming throughout their first week of school to get them acclimated to high school and to their new classmates and teachers.
Orientation programs throughout the week included a breakfast with senior peer leaders, ice-breakers, getting to know the guidance department, learning some of the different programs and staff at school, meeting with Head of School Rabbi Rubin and hearing ways to get involved in all of the many extra-curricular activities that RKYHS offers.
The ninth graders enjoyed being part of the whole school assembly that featured videos with highlights of the past year, back to school greetings from faculty from their locations throughout the summer and receiving a glimpse of the exciting initiatives and programs to look forward to this school year. Everyone enjoyed the “first day french fries” french fry bar and trivia quiz game during lunch on the first day and a delicious ice cream truck on the first Friday!
